Head of QA

Due to the company's project development, we are seeking Head of QA

What are you working on?

• The name of the project(s): Farcana
• Genres: Shooter
• Platforms: PC

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Responsible for the quality of all QA activities and artefacts on projects

• Accountable for planning, resourcing and execution of all QA activities

• Identifies opportunities for improvements in QA processes and manages changes through to completion

• Defines strategies to ensure effective and efficient quality assurance, including the use of specialised testing tools and techniques

• Determines project-testing standards for all phases, influencing all parties to conform to those standards

• Coach team members across roles to help deliver better quality software and help them adopt a testing mindset.

• Interact with developers to address and test identified issues

• Establish consistent approach in QA activities across all projects

• Release management

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 2-4 years of experience as a tester (preferably on PC projects)

• QA Team Leadership experience

• Ability to create short-term plans and roadmaps

• Experience with Unreal Engine for at least 1 year

• Ability to work with client-server applications

• Solid knowledge of testing theory and ability to apply this knowledge in practice

• Experience with Test Case Management Tools (TestRail, JIRA, QASE)

• Experience with Multiplayer Game Testing (Authentication, matchmaker, feature testing)

• Game experience in PC and console games

• English B2+

Nice to have:

• Web Services Testing 

• Experience in Automation Tool building and/or deployment

• Experience in Automation testing
